Paynex operates as the product and workflow orchestration layer. All regulated financial services — banking, custody, compliance, identity verification, and payment rail access — are operated by licensed infrastructure partners under their own regulatory frameworks.
This page is intended for infrastructure providers, banking partners, compliance teams, and technical counterparts evaluating Paynex for integration.
A structurally enforced boundary between the Paynex product layer and the regulated partner infrastructure beneath it.
Accesses platform via Paynex interface
UI, workflow routing, API gateway, payout instruction engine
KYC/KYB, AML screening, transaction monitoring — licensed operator
Account provisioning, fund custody — licensed financial institution
ACH, SWIFT, local rails, mobile money — licensed transmission
Local bank, mobile money, or wallet — destination market delivery
Structural note: All layers below Paynex are operated by separately licensed entities under their own regulatory authorization. Paynex does not hold a banking license, money transmission license, or e-money authorization.
A full breakdown of how each component of the Paynex infrastructure model is structured and who operates each regulated function.
Paynex is explicitly designed as a product and orchestration layer. We do not hold banking licenses, money transmission licenses, or financial institution status. Every regulated activity — banking, custody, compliance operations, and fund movement — is performed by licensed partners operating under their own regulatory frameworks.
The Paynex architecture maintains a structurally enforced boundary between the user experience layer and the regulated backend. Banking infrastructure, fund custody, compliance operations, and payment rail access are all owned and operated by licensed partner entities.
KYC/KYB identity verification, AML screening, and ongoing transaction monitoring are performed exclusively through licensed compliance partners. Paynex provides the API integration layer and user-facing workflow — compliance decisions and operations remain with the licensed partner.
Account structures and fund custody are provisioned through licensed banking partners. Payment rail connectivity — ACH, SWIFT, local payment schemes, and mobile money networks — is accessed through partner infrastructure with appropriate regulatory coverage for each corridor.
Paynex maintains separate sandbox and production environments for partner integration. Sandbox replicates production API behavior, compliance flow gating, and payout rail responses — enabling full end-to-end testing without capital movement or live data exposure.
Each corridor follows a sequential activation process: infrastructure partner selection, compliance scope definition, technical integration and sandbox validation, partner approval review, and controlled production go-live. No corridor is activated without completing this process.
Paynex does not claim regulatory status it does not hold. Licensed activities are explicitly attributed to the operating licensed partner.
The platform architecture enforces separation between the Paynex orchestration layer and regulated partner operations at the API and contract level.
Each market is individually validated with the relevant partners before production activation. No corridor is live without full compliance sign-off.
We're engaging banking infrastructure providers, licensed custodians, compliance platforms, and payout network operators. If you provide regulated infrastructure relevant to our corridor strategy, we'd like to open a technical discussion.
